Paul's Rocketeer flight 08/11/01

Tripoli-MN: North Branch

My Son and I launched my Aerotech Strong ARM Christmas present at the 08/11/01 Tripoli launch near North Branch, Minnesota.

The Strong ARM is considered a mid power rocket and will accept either F or G Series motors.

We were rewarded with a flawless flight on an F20 Econo-Jet (after the first copperhead igniter popped).

Even had nice sound effects and great smoke. The rocket climbed to 1200 feet AGL (est.) and had a normal parachute deployment.

The rocket was recovered in perfect shape, a big relief for both of us.
